Haitham Ibrahim
Haitham Ibrahim ElGohary is a 2001 Mechanical Engineering graduate. He commenced his career with EDC in 2002 as part of the Special Drilling Trainee (SDT) program. He worked on EDC rigs for a year before moving to EDC’s Saudi branch, Drilling & Petroleum Services (DPS) during 2003 as an Assistant Driller. Climbing the ladder of success in the various field positions and working on both onshore and offshore rigs, he finally held the position of Rig Superintendent at the DPS head office in 2013. Haytham continued to excel and was then promoted to Onshore Operation Manager, leading the DPS rigs to achieve outstanding performance and safety records. In December 2023, powered up by his 21 years of experience, Haytham was appointed as the DPS General Manager.
