- Bachelor’s degree
- Age less than 30 years (Preferably 23-26)
- Good English Level
- Good Communication Skills

Responsibilities

• Execute any assigned maintenance, cleaning or general service duties in a manner which will not endanger physically himself, other personnel or equipment.
• Carry out the responsibilities and duties of a Floor Man when assigned to do so.
• Work under the supervision or the person or persons he is instructed to assist by the Roustabout Foreman.
• Assist in training new hires in safety habits at the rig site.
• Perform the daily housekeeping duties of cleaning and painting of the rig and all of the related drilling equipment and casing equipment using the company supplied tools, safety equipment and safety clothing.
• Work under the guidance of the Roustabout Foreman in the handling, moving, unloading and loading of materials and equipment from supply vehicles.
• Work under the guidance of the Roustabout Foreman in the movement of materials and equipment around rig site and surrounding area.
• Handle and mix mud chemicals and cementing materials as required while wearing of EDC issued protective safety gear at all times when mixing.
• Clean out tanks, drill water tanks and pot water tanks. Apply the protective coating where required, weather paint or alternative type of coating. During all such operations the tank entry permits must be applied and all required safety equipment available.
• Rig down, rig up and maintain water lines between sewage lines in the main camp and rig camp.
• Clean, paint and maintain drill pipe handling tools and casing handling tools.
• Maintain, inspect and lubricate all lifting equipment and wire ropes and slings including the anchor winches and towing lines. Report all defective and damaged wire ropers to the Roustabout Foreman or the Assistant Driller.
• Responsible for the general maintenance of tubulars including measuring, cleaning connections, coating drifting and reporting defects to the Roustabout Foreman.
