Lifting Coach
Description
•Create the rig specific move manuals and make it in compliance with the OEM instructions to the greatest extent possible.
• Perform the rig DROPS surveys according to the annual rigs’ DROPS surveys program.
• Create the rigs DROPS surveys report, DROPS inspection book and fail list action tracker.
• Follow up with the rigs on the DROPS fail points until it is closed.
• Act as a focal point for lifting and DROPS issues with the client’s field personnel.
• Conduct the lifting and DROPS awareness training to the rigs’ crews during the rig visits.
• Verify the DROPS, lifting and rigging procedures implementation in all EDC field business units.
• Participate in issuing the lifting plan for the different lifting operations and attend all the different lifting operation.
• Ensure with the collaboration with Rig HSE Engineer that all lifting equipment and accessories are inspected and accepted according to the lifting gear inspection criteria.
• Ensure with the collaboration with Rig HSE Engineer that the lifting gear register is up to date.
• Shall carry out other duties within the scope of this job description.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience as a "Lifting Coach" is required.
3. Lifting Supervisor Course.
4. LEEA training or equivalent.
5. Appointed person for lifting (APLO)
Job Overview
• Follow the DROPS guidelines and best practices while performing the DROPS surveys.
• Ensure that lifting operations are carried out according to EDC and Client rigging and lifting procedures.
